Welcome to
Portmagee Hostel located in the small picturesque village of Portmagee, the
gateway to Valentia Island and Skellig Rocks. Portmagee village and
harbour was a haven for smugglers and pirates but today is well known for its
brightly painted houses, traditional pubs and quality restaurants where fresh
fish is served daily straight from the boats.

2005, Portmagee Hostel, like it’s sister property – Skellig Hostel in
Ballinskelligs, is a super example of today’s contemporary, yet traditionally
